Information and Consultation
Pu'ulu Lapa'au serves as the primary resource of information related to healthcare provider health in the state of Hawai‘i. Our directors and staff are available to respond to both general inquiries and specific requests for more information about our program.
We provide consultation to individuals, healthcare organizations and hospitals who may be concerned about the well-being, health, or functioning of a Hawai‘i healthcare provider.
We provide individual screening for self-referred providers, as well as those referred by friends, family, colleagues and employers. We will speak with any provider at their request, at any time, with full confidentiality.
Screening consists of listening to a provider's concerns, reviewing any reports, if applicable and outlining potential next steps. Engagement with us is strictly voluntary.
